INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING IN EDUCATION
The objective of the project was to strengthen the education system’s governance by offering support to the decentralization and devolution of powers, roles and responsibilities of the Department of National Education to the Regional Academies of Education and Training (AREF), delegations and institutions. As the goal was to improve the institutional administrative management capacities, at central, regional and local levels, it was firstly oriented towards the enhancement of the managers’ competencies in order to allow them to appropriate new management styles and administrative procedures necessary to the context of reform and to ensure, by doing so, the implementation of sustainable change.
