Under the supervision of the Flora Tristán coordinators, the volunteer will support and implement the environmental strategy action plan of the Ensemble pour l’égalité project. He/she will create and implement ecological means and practices as part of program implementation. She will also provide support to agronomic technicians in the implementation of activities, and advise on the use of carbon footprint management and mitigation tools and methodologies.
Implemented by Éducation internationale and its partners, Flora Tristán in Peru and Sumaj Punchay and Centro Juana Azurduy in Bolivia, the Ensemble pour l’égalité project contributes to strengthening gender equality and the empowerment of women, indigenous women and young women in the rural communities of Paruro in Peru and Oropeza in Bolivia.
The 12-month mandate will run from July 2024 to June 2025 in Cusco, Peru. The volunteer will work from the Éducation internationale office in Cusco: Urb. TTIO Manzana O Lote 1-11 distrito de Wanchaq, provincia y departamento de Cusco, Perú.
