TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR IN-CLASS TRAINING

The mandate was to improve the training of teachers in Burundi in 2008, while many were recruited by the government to overcome the increase of students enrolled in primary education.

The mandate allowed:

To evaluate the training requirements of teachers, principals and inspectors at the primary level
To evaluate and review the continuing education material, the distribution of continuing education contents for in-class and distance learning
To review the logistics of the training programs
