Québec's school system

Responsible for over 2300 schools, Québec's school boards are constantly innovating in order to make Québec schools places where creativity is fostered and that are instrumental in developing the community and society as a whole. They organize the professional development of teachers, program reviews, the selection of instructional material and the evaluation of teaching.

Éducation internationale is composed of the following members, all of which are known for their expertise in the school system:

• Société GRICS (Gestion des réseaux informatiques des commissions scolaires), the largest North American concentration of computer and telecommunications developers, analysts, specialists and consultants in the field of education.
• SOFAD (Société de formation à distance), whose mission is to produce teaching material for adult education, vocational education and continuing education in the workplace.
• CEMEQ (Centre d'élaboration des moyens d'enseignement), entrusted with designing teaching solutions that make it possible to organize and provide vocational and technical education through competency-based training modules.
• FCSQ (Fédération des commissions scolaires du Québec) and the ACSAQ (Association des commissions scolaires anglophones du Québec), representing English and French school boards across Québec.
• A large majority of Québec's French and English school boards.

Éducation internationale brings together this wide spectrum of expertise and makes it available to all those in charge of general education and vocational and technical education nationally and internationally, whether governments, institutions, private companies, development banks or fundraisers.

By pooling all their human resources to form the biggest international body of expertise in basic education, vocational education, technical training and adult education in Québec, the members of the Cooperative are able to respond quickly and effectively to pressing needs in education and to the demand for qualified manpower training adapted to the needs of companies.

The Cooperative wishes to contribute to the development of education for all. Its values are used in the service of countries and fundraisers for the advancement of international cooperation and development.
