Éducation internationale is a cooperative for educational development and exchange services constituted under the provisions of the Cooperatives Act (R.S.Q., c. C-67.2) on April 24, 2001.

School boards and other organizations in the education community have pooled their resources to offer their expertise internationally in the area of general education, vocational education and adult education. Together, the members of Éducation internationale are responsible for over 75% of Québec's needs in their fields of endeavour.

Éducation internationale was created by the Fédération des commissions scolaires du Québec to make nearly 150 years of ongoing experience, excellence and innovation in the development of Québec's education system and of the socioeconomic growth of communities available to all education players.

Every member of the Cooperative benefits from the vast experience of educational institution support staff (administrators, psychologists, educators, education and training planners, etc.) and teachers in implementing new programs and enhancing the quality of education.
